Preliminary I believed the future of humanity was dark and unpleasant. The constant upgraded hyper-addictive algorithms in social media and our mental health crisis, made me believe we would never be happier than in our past. But that isn't true.

In the history of humanity, inequality has always been defeated by the morals of the society, for example through the French Revolution. The same conversations we have today about artificial intelligence, we had about television and computers. The sad thing is that most attention seeking news about AI is about the job market and how it is going to “steal” jobs, which isn’t directly true.

AI is going to make remarkable contributions to cancer research, artificial blood (already in Japan), and will make fight climate change easier. Not to forget that AI is going to open up for new jobs that will fill the job market and our current salary market will adapt for things that AI cannot do, that humans can.

So therefore, don’t fear the future when we can change it.
