By submitting work to OVN Magazine, you agree to the following these important, definitely-binding, absolutely-not-made-up terms:

  1. Originality required
Your work must be created by you. If your fish wrote it, great – give the fish credit. No plagiarism. No AI-production. Ever.

  2. Respect the readers
OVN celebrates creativity, but we don’t publish anything offensive, harmful or designed to make your boss or anyone else cry in disapointment.

  3. Serious effort
Submissions must show genuine effort. “I did this on the bus in 30 seconds” counts only if the result is brilliant.
    (We will know.)

  4. Editing is your friend
Spellcheck is not optional. Re-reading is not optional. Pride in your work is optional, but strongly encouraged.

  5. Deadlines exist for a reason
Late submissions may be accepted, but only if accompanied by snacks and loads of compliments.

  6. We’re a team
By contributing, you join the mighty OVN editorial force, responsible for supporting, inspiring, and occasionally rescuing each other’s writing. READ YOUR FRIENDS WORK AND COMPLIMENT IT.

  7. Publication rights
You owe the right yo your work. You are encouraged to submit for publishing in our OVN Magazine, but if you prefer not to, state that clearly in your work. For publishing: include your name or pseudonym attached, fame guaranteed.

  8. Have Fun
If you’re not having at least a little fun, you’re doing it wrong. SIT DOWN; THINK HARD; REMEMBER WHY YOU ARE HERE.
